About Sean Vandevander

Sean is an entrepreneur and has an impressive resume working with non-profits. By the age of 32 he was on the board, or heavily involved with at least 6 prominent local organizations, including serving as Chairman of a subcommittee on the Louisville Sustainability Council, President of the Jefferson County Extension Council and host and Chair of the largest annual fundraiser for Jefferson County 4H.

"I am indebted to the city of Louisville. In the words of the Greatest, Muhammad Ali; 'Service to others is the rent you pay while you're here on this earth."

He attended St. Albert the Great (1st-8th) and graduated from Waggener High school in 2001. He earned a Bachelor in Political Science (Pre-Law) from Northern Kentucky University and was chosen as a 2015 Bingham Fellow, Leadership Louisville's flagship program. The class focused on growing Louisville's influence in Frankfort and across Kentucky.

"I have strong working relationships with elected leaders from all over Kentucky. Democrats and Republicans. Young and old. I will fight to make sure Louisville is heard loud and clear and not left begging for our fair share of tax dollars."
